Meet Dr. Nguyen
I was born in Vinh Long province and and grew up Nhon Phu countryside of Vietnam. I came to the United States in June 1990 when I was seventeen. After going to colleges and universities, I built a private office in Menlo Park in November 2002. Since then, I have lived and practiced dentistry in Menlo Park.
“The last quarter of a century of my life has been pretty constantly and faithfully devoted to the study of the human race-that is to say, the study of myself, for in my individual person I am the entire human race compacted together. I have found that there is no ingredient of the race which I do not possess in either a small way or a large way. When it is small, as compared with the same ingredient in somebody else, there is still enough of it for all the purposes of examination. In m y contacts with the species I find no one who possesses a quality which I do not possess. The shades of difference between other people and me serve to make variety and prevent monotony, but that is all; broadly speaking, we are all alike; and so by studying myself carefully and comparing myself with other people and noting the divergences, I have been enabled to acquire a knowledge of the human race which I perceive is more accurate and more comprehensive than that which has been acquired and revealed by any other member of our species. As a result, my private and concealed opinion of myself is not of a complimentary sort. It follows that my estimate of the human race is the duplicate of my estimate of myself.”
I really like this quote and the wisdom implied. I copied it from page 133 of Mr. Mark Twain’s autobiography written in 1906 when he was seventy one years old. Now at thirty nine, my life has something similar to the first half of this writing. The last half is what I wish I will be able to write about myself in the next 32 years.
I currently work with Kelly who is a registered dental assistant. She had a wide variety of experiences working with people in many fields before her dental profession. Kelly is a very kind, honest, hard working and professional person. She would go out of her way to take care of our patients and fulfill her responsibilities. I am fortunate to have worked with Kelly in the last 12 months.
We work together in a caring and professional manner to attain the highest quality of care for all patients. We continue to learn about individual patients to meet their needs and expectations. It is a place where you feel welcomed, respected, well-informed, and cared for in a unique, safe and technologically advanced setting that is aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sound and well-maintained.
I also feel very fortunate to have a very strong support from my family, friends, and my patients to be able to continue to study throughout my career. Enclosed are our resumes and credentials from the Academy of General Dentistry.
